The nearest airport is Klagenfurt (KLU), approximately 35-40 km from the Lake Lodge and reachable by car in 30-40 minutes. For ultimate convenience, we recommend booking a private transfer in advance or reserving a hire car directly at the airport to ensure complete flexibility during your stay. Alternatively, you can reach Klagenfurt train station by bus or taxi in a short time and then continue your journey to Villach by train.
The Carinthian transport network reliably connects the Lake Lodge with the most important places in the region. The starting point is Villach Central Station, a well-connected hub for national and international connections. From there, you can reach Annenheim or Treffen by ÖBB regional trains or local bus lines (e.g. line 40); the train journey from Villach usually takes 15 to 25 minutes.
